Your wedding is almost here, you’ve been planning it for years, and you’re sure he’s the one for you.
But before you get ahead of yourself, have you remembered everything? Paid the caterer, washed your hair, organised your makeup?
Well fear not! We’ve put together 5 of the most common things that brides forget so that you don’t.
To eat – Yep, you read that right. The amount of brides that are so rushed off their feet or so overly worried about their weight that they don’t eat is astonishing.
Remember, if you want to enjoy your day, you’re going to want to feel well. And you aren’t going to feel well if you don’t eat.
3 meals a day!
Comfy shoes – I know, I know. You want to look great all evening. And those expensive wedding shoes need to be worn. But trust me when I say that your reception won’t be fun in heels!
Bring some comfy shoes along for the ride so that you can dance into the night with your new husband!
An emergency kit – There are a million and one thing that could go wrong on the day, so the more prepared you are, the better. Pack an emergency kit of plasters, deodorant, make up, camera, mobile phone and anything else you think you might want in a flash.
Elect your ‘job’ people – On the day of your wedding you’re going to be very busy. So you don’t have time to get all the little jobs done, like ring the florist to find out why they’re 20 minutes late.
Ask a few friends if they can help you on the day. So when you need that little thing doing, they can swoop into action.
Your thank you notes – I’m going to go ahead and guess that you didn’t make this wedding happen on your own.
Make sure that you say thank you to everyone who deserves it. And for those people who went the extra mile, why not consider a little gift? They’ll sure appreciate it!
And last, but by no means least – remember to have fun. Yep, it’s going to be a little stressful, but this is a day you’ll want to remember for the rest of your life. Enjoy it!
